Why did Camille become a mentor?

I find it interesting to be able to help young people during their professional orientation. I always knew what I wanted to do, but not everyone does. Therefore, it would be my honor to help with your questions on medicine or research masters!

First I passed the medicine entrance exams of the first and sixth years.
Then, I made sure to choose internships aligned with what I wanted to specialize myself in: pneumology pediatric. During those internships, I also registered for additional classes offered by my university. Finally, I registered for webinars and congress discussing relevant topics in order to stay up to date with the best practices in the field.

• I applied for various scholarships online.
• For the research master itself, it was my supervisor herself who offered me the opportunity.
• Once I was selected, I was invited to pass in front of a jury to verbally defend the value-added of my research project within 15min
• They mostly cared about two things: what you are going to do and how it is going to benefit patients
• To prep for this presentation, I had to prepare a PowerPoint detailing my project. For that, I had to do thorough scientific research to back up the need for what I wanted to do. For that, I mostly used PubMed
• For the PowerPoint, I asked a friend working in management consulting (business) to help me understand the tool and how to better present everything clearly
